Personally, I found the book to be worthwhile, and if you're curious about it at all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. I think the main ideas are well-summarized in the Table of Contents, which I obtained permission to post online: The book is very short (under 100 pages), and I read it in one sitting. The book resonated with me, but I've got books on my shelf with titles like 'Autobiography of a Yogi', 'Be Here Now', etc., and I suspect that if Eastern religion, self-realization, and 'spiritual enlightenment' are all ideas that fail to resonate with you, then this book might not be for you. So I finished reading this book recently, and I'd say 'Yoga of Poker' isn't so much a poker book as it is a spiritual memoir, a book about self-realization, which just happens to have been written from the perspective of a successful high-stakes poker player.
